Parts Department Team Leader [m/f/d]

Your responsibilities

• You will be responsible for organising and coordinating the parts department
• You will be responsible for stock management and ordering spare parts and accessories using the existing systems
• You will monitor stock levels and carry out stock checks and inventories
• You will work closely with the workshop, service advisors and sales staff to ensure a timely and optimal supply of parts
• You will identify and address specific weaknesses in process and service quality and be responsible for achieving sales and turnover targets
• You will conduct consultations, prepare quotations and invoices, and sell spare parts and accessories to internal and external customers
• You will be responsible for ensuring a clean and sales-effective presentation of goods in the shop
• You will take charge of staff planning and management in close coordination with the service manager
• You will be responsible for the induction and integration of new staff in the parts department

Your profile

• You have completed an apprenticeship in automotive parts management, automotive sales, or hold a comparable qualification
• You have several years’ professional experience in parts management, preferably in a car dealership
• Ideally, you have gained some initial management experience and possess strong teamwork skills
• You possess in-depth technical knowledge of vehicle parts and accessories
• You are a natural organiser with good communication skills and the ability to work independently
• You are highly customer-focused and service-oriented
• You are proficient in using modern IT systems and inventory management software
• You have a very good command of French and German; knowledge of Luxembourgish and English is an advantage
