Head of Accounting & Collections [m/f/d]

Your Responsibilities
  • Full responsibility for Financial Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Accounts Receivable
  • Professional and disciplinary leadership of a team of currently 3 employees
  • Member of the Management Team and close collaboration with the executive management
  • Central contact person for all stakeholders in Accounting and Collections (customers, dealers, sales staff, colleagues, etc.), particularly in special cases
  • Main contact for auditors, tax advisors, and financial authorities
  • Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to LUX-GAAP
  • Ensure accurate and appropriate posting of incoming and outgoing invoices
  • Validate VAT declarations (prepared by service providers)
  • Cash management and liquidity planning
  • Analyze KPIs and derive strategic recommendations
  • Manage and optimize processes in Accounting and Accounts Receivable
  • Coordinate special cases in dunning and manage service providers
  • Develop reporting processes in close collaboration with the Controlling team
  • Support budget planning
  • Coordinate cross-departmental projects, special topics, ad-hoc analyses, and prepare presentations for various stakeholders (e.g., management, supervisory board)

Your Profile
  • Degree in Economics, Accounting, or Business Law
  • Several years of professional experience in finance, auditing, or tax advisory, preferably with team leadership
  • Solid knowledge in accounting, tax law, accounts receivable, and liquidity planning, especially in a financial institution environment
  • Excellent MS Excel skills, ideally with experience in Microsoft Business Central
  • Experience with ERP systems and digital accounting processes
  • Independent, structured, solution-oriented working style with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer orientation
  • Fluent in German, English, and French; Luxembourgish is an advantage
