In the Back Office at Volkswagen Losch Financial Services (VWLFS), you will be jointly responsible for all tasks related to finance and accounting. You will work independently in a motivated, young team and ensure smooth operations in your assigned area.

Key responsibilities:
  • Support in the day-to-day operations of the Back Office with a focus on finance and accounting;
  • Ensure accurate and appropriate posting of incoming and outgoing invoices;
  • Timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to LUX GAAP and IFRS as well as internal and external reporting;
  • Support in liquidity planning and cash management;
  • Further development of existing tools for internal and external reporting;
  • Analyze KPIs and derive strategic recommendations;
  • Perform variance analyses and ad-hoc analyses to support management decisions;
  • Responsibility for data quality and data maintenance in key IT systems (accounting, contract management and customer relationship management);
  • Coordination with other departments to ensure consistent master data;
  • Definition and implementation of data governance policies;
  • Point of contact for accounting matters for internal and external partners as well as for the shareholders (Volkswagen Financial Services AG Braunschweig and Losch Luxembourg).
  • Participate in projects for continuous improvement of efficiency and automation.

Your profile
  • Degree in finance, business administration, accounting or similar;
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar position, ideally in the automotive sector with a focus on leasing or in financial institutions;
  • Solid knowledge of accounting, tax and liquidity management;
  • Excellent Excel skills and proficiency in other MS Office programs, ideally complemented by experience with Microsoft Business Central;
  • Experience with ERP systems and digital accounting processes;
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work, as well as a high degree of self-initiative;
  • Strong communication skills and high interest in working in a team;
  • Excellent German, English and French language skills; knowledge of Luxembourgish is an advantage.
